AMERICAN STARS SUED
MILEY CYRUS, WIZ KHALIFA AND MIKE WILL MADE IT ; HAVE BEEN SUED
Miley cyrus, Wiz Khalifa and Mike Will Made-It have been sued for song theft, and it is not for a recent track, but their 2013 hit song, “23 (J’s On My Feet).
Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa and Mike Will-Made It connected back in 2013 for “23,” and as we all know, the track ultimately served as one of the biggest singles of the year.
Unfortunately, the hit single that once helped Miley Cyrus gain acceptance from the hip hop community might have been ripped off, according to a new lawsuit.
Ariella Asher says she released “J’s On My Feet (feat. Fleetwood)” back in 2012 and, in her lawsuit, Ariella calls it “a hit original musical composition.”
According to the documents, obtained by TMZ, the rip-off came when Ariella’s friend met with mega-producer Mike Will Made-It although Ariella seems to think “Mike Will Stole It” would be more accurate. She says during the Jan. 2013 meeting her friend gave Mike a copy of her version of her “J’s On My Feet.” Additionally, she believes Miley took her look for the music video.
She also pointed out that Mike Will’s song reached #11 on the charts and garnered 794M views.
Ariella’s suing Miley Cyrus, Mike Will Made-It and Wiz Khalifa for copyright infringement. She’s seeking to block all future plays of the song, 23.

Beyonce and Jay-Z: the key to the city.
Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin gave a big honor to superstars Beyonce and Jay-Z: the key to the city.
The Power couple, Beyonce and Jay-Z have been presented with the key to Columbia, South Carolina for their humanitarian and cultural contributions.
The music icons were in South Carolina’s capital Tuesday to perform as part of their “On the Run II” tour that’s currently making its way across America. The show, which was held at Williams-Brice Stadium, drew tens of thousands of fans to the venue.
Benjamin apparently got a few minutes of their time backstage. In a photo posted on his Twitter account after the concert, Benjamin can be seen presenting Jay-Z with a key in a box. The mayor said he also proclaimed the day “Beyonce Knowles Carter and Shawn Carter Day” across Columbia. He wrote;
“Late night but what an incredible show at #OTRII in @ColumbiaSC !”“It was wonderful to have a chance to recognize the humanitarian & cultural contributions of Mr. & Mrs. Carter. August 21st was officially ‘Beyonce Knowles Carter & Shawn Carter Day” in @ColumbiaSC @Beyonce @S_C_”

This was just the third concert at Williams-Brice Stadium in the last 20 years, and the first since Kenny Chesney in 2008. It’s also a little bit of history, since it was the first time an R&B and rap act (all the others were rock or country) to play venue
TIWA SAVAGE HITS A POP SHOP IN LONDON
Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has taken the steps of her ‘bestie’ Wizkid in opening a pop up shop in London.

Tiwa Savage finally broke her silence on the rumoured relationship that existed between herself and Wizkid.
The two who were seen in several pictures together and stage performances were tipped to be in a romantic relationship.
Tiwa Savage has now dismissed these stories stating that the relationship between the pair wasn’t romantic in any way and that the two have never had such an interaction.
She made this known while speaking to Soundcity radio 98.5, she said she ignored all the rumours surrounding the two and that there was no pressure on her, she said;
“I heard all sorts of stories about Wizkid and I, but I chose to ignore them.
“At a point, people said I was dating Humblesmith; later they mentioned another (artiste?). How long will I continue to debunk these rumours. I have been in the music industry for quite a while and I have grown a thick skin, so certain rumours or insinuations don’t get to me again.”
