Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin gave a big honor to superstars Beyonce and Jay-Z: the key to the city.

The Power couple, Beyonce and Jay-Z have been presented with the key to Columbia, South Carolina for their humanitarian and cultural contributions.

The music icons were in South Carolina’s capital Tuesday to perform as part of their “On the Run II” tour that’s currently making its way across America. The show, which was held at Williams-Brice Stadium, drew tens of thousands of fans to the venue.

Benjamin apparently got a few minutes of their time backstage. In a photo posted on his Twitter account after the concert, Benjamin can be seen presenting Jay-Z with a key in a box. The mayor said he also proclaimed the day “Beyonce Knowles Carter and Shawn Carter Day” across Columbia. He wrote;

“Late night but what an incredible show at #OTRII in @ColumbiaSC !”

“It was wonderful to have a chance to recognize the humanitarian & cultural contributions of Mr. & Mrs. Carter. August 21st was officially ‘Beyonce Knowles Carter & Shawn Carter Day” in @ColumbiaSC @Beyonce @S_C_”

This was just the third concert at Williams-Brice Stadium in the last 20 years, and the first since Kenny Chesney in 2008. It’s also a little bit of history, since it was the first time an R&B and rap act (all the others were rock or country) to play venue

Tiwa Savage finally broke her silence on the rumoured relationship that existed between herself and Wizkid.

The two who were seen in several pictures together and stage performances were tipped to be in a romantic relationship.

Tiwa Savage has now dismissed these stories stating that the relationship between the pair wasn’t romantic in any way and that the two have never had such an interaction.

She made this known while speaking to Soundcity radio 98.5, she said she ignored all the rumours surrounding the two and that there was no pressure on her, she said;

“I heard all sorts of stories about Wizkid and I, but I chose to ignore them.

“At a point, people said I was dating Humblesmith; later they mentioned another (artiste?). How long will I continue to debunk these rumours. I have been in the music industry for quite a while and I have grown a thick skin, so certain rumours or insinuations don’t get to me again.”

Louis Vuitton model convicted of murdering rival after an online feud..................................A British fashion model has been convicted of murdering a more successful rival after the two engaged in a social media-fueled dispute.

On Monday, a jury found George Koh guilty of stabbing Harry Uzoka through the heart outside Uzoka's London home.

The 25-year-old victim was signed to London's Premier Model Management agency and had modeled for GQ and Zara. Koh has appeared in ads for Louis Vuitton.

Prosecutors say Uzoka accused Koh of trying to copy him, and the two men feuded after Koh claimed to have slept with Uzoka's girlfriend.

According to Britain's Mirror, Uzoka told Koh in a direct message, "Leave my name out of your mouth, it’s that simple. I’ve never spoken bad of you in any way, so this is wild."

In January, Koh sent Uzoka a message challenging him to a fight. Uzoka was stabbed, and collapsed and died in the street.

Koh, 24, had denied murder, saying he was carrying two knives for self-defense.

Two other men were convicted alongside Koh. All will be sentenced Sept. 21........................guity of stabbing victim
